Ash Wear has been employed by Euclid Chemical as a Technical Sales Representative since 2018, where he focuses on selling concrete admixtures, fibers, and integral color. He graduated from California State University Chico in 2014 with a degree in Concrete Industry Management. Before taking a position at Euclid Chemical he worked for Lehigh Cement and Vulcan Materials, selling cement and aggregates respectively. Over the years Ash has fallen in love with the industry as a whole and since taking a position at Euclid Chemical, he has become fascinated with concrete technology. Ash is always looking for opportunities to learn more about concrete so that he is better equipped to solve a problem that he or somebody in his network may face. Ash is very passionate about giving back to the concrete industry, for which he feels forever indebted for providing him with a life that he never imagined. He currently serves as the Vice President of the American Concrete Institute - Northern California and Western Nevada Chapter and intends on being the President starting in June of 2022.

She has been involved with many projects in Northern California including the Apple 2 Campus, the Shasta Viaduct Bridge Repair, and many hospitals and high rises. His five years in California state politics exposed him to many industries and issues as well as an understanding of how our government is currently operating and the details behind the legislative agendas. Brandon plans on bringing a combination of his previous legislative knowledge and a new and deepening understanding of the concrete materials supply industry to ACI.
2. Paige Silva (Master Builders Solutions)
Paige Silva graduated from the Concrete Industry Management program at Chico State in May of 2020. Upon graduation, she started working for Master Builders Solutions as a Territory Manager in the Bay Area. If elected for the ACI Board of Directors she hopes to bring her experience, enthusiasm, and offer a fresh perspective to the NCA & WNV ACI Chapter.
3. Michael Smith (Cemex)
I have worked in the Concrete Industry for the better part of my career. I entered the industry driving mixers in both Northern and Southern California. I moved to the equipment side and worked with concrete contractors supplying the equipment they would need to complete the projects. I then spent 7 years working for Somero Enterprises covering the Western US, Western Canada, as well as Hawaii, and Alaska. In this role, my focus was on slabs and paving. It was during this time that I began to get involved with CNCA and ACI working to help educate and implement ACI 330. I worked with my contractors to help them use ACI 330 to submit alternate designs that were superior to the current concrete paving designs. This had the added benefit of often being cost-competitive with the Asphalt designs. It was through my presentations and my free consulting that I was introduced to Cemex and offered the position I currently fill. In this role, I continue to do free consulting and speak on topics like Roller Compacted Concrete, Concrete Overlays of Asphalt, Full Depth Reclamation with Cement, Cement Soil Stabilization, and traditional Concrete Paving, both parking lots and roadways. Our current focus is on Portland Limestone Cement and getting C595 into specs as well as, Low Carbon Concrete. I work with Municipalities, Developers, Engineering Firms, and Home Builders. I have a passion for learning, educating, and helping to promote the latest advances in our industry.
