Good Company, Great Food, and Anticipating What's Next

The Special Setting of Scott's 


Retiring President Paige Olsen delivered heartfelt remarks about her experience in the Chapter community. 

Our Annual Meeting is described in the Chapter Bylaws as a mandatory event. On June 10, we elevated that event at remarkable Scott's Seafood in Sacramento, with at least ten Past and Current Presidents in attendance, and with an evening of good humor, remembrances, and challenges for the 40 attendees.

History and Remembrance


Daughter and father Jaymi Fridley, Past President (2021), and Mark Hill represent decades of family involvement in the Chapter. Mark returned as a new director in our recent election.  

 


Past Presidents Ben Inkster (2014) and Tim Daust (2017) talk with Past President Robert Hightower (2013).

 


Past President Gerard Hoppa (2008) offered a personal remembrance of John Compoginis, Past President from 2005 who recently passed away. John was an energetic force in the Chapter who lived a very full life. He was a friend of Gerard's who shared his enthusiasm for motorcycles. 

 

Exciting Challenges for the Industry and the Chapter


New Chapter President Michael Smith described the rapid pace of technical developments, the influence of AI, and the challenges for the Industry and the Chapter. He said It is perhaps the most exciting time to be a professional in the Industry. 

 

Good Humor and Good Wishes


The Chapter presented Paige with a special sweatshirt design appropriate for a new mother to help disguise any baby "burps."
