DoubleTree by Hilton Sacramento
Meeting Room: Maxi's

Program: Cementitious (but not just concrete) Engineering Solutions
Discover the innovative cementitious solutions currently being developed with the support of CNCA's engineering team. While industry associations continue to promote traditional concrete, this represents only a small portion of their initiatives. Learn more about the leading cement applications that are experiencing increased adoption and widespread industry interest.
Many engineers are familiar with some trench backfill and pavement solutions, but few know them all. Learn about new methods in road recycling, permeable pavements, and more. You'll also see what happens to concrete when we remove each main ingredient—rocks, sand, cement, or water—and how it affects structures like dams, roads, levees, walls, foundations, and fire-resistant buildings.
Guest Speaker:

California Nevada Cement Association
Clay Slocum became CNCA's Northern California/Northern Nevada pavements engineer in January 2014 and is based in Chico, California.
